The Foam expands like normal and saran or plastic wrap fits space well - keeps from sticking to door, jamb walls makes removal easier. I'm afraid it will slowly fail as with similar products of this consistency in my experience.

Be sure to make it wider than just where the Foam will. A: I used it to fill around the plumbing pipe penetrations through my walls, wouldn't use for bigger than 3-4 diameter holes, its very runny until hardens.
